Pendleton Unity Song
Baskets and incised feathers are often found on Navajo wedding vases. The potter sings and prays while forming clay from Mother Earth into a vessel with two spouts joined by one handle: two becoming one. During the Unity Ceremony, each will sip separately, then together, pledging to travel one path. Robe (twin) size makes an impressive wall hanging and a beautiful home accent when draped over a sofa or folded at the foot of a bed. Reverses for two dramatically different looks.
